A Zebra Among Horses, Gallery Espace, September 28th-October 31st, 2013

‘Zebra Among Horses’ is the solo show of the recent works by Brooklyn-based artist Chitra Ganesh. This is her first solo show in the city of Delhi, and in this exhibition, she will be showcasing digital collages in lightjet prints, mixed-media drawings on paper, a site-specific installation and a text-based wall piece composed in-situ the gallery space.

Chitra Ganesh’s digital collages in lightjet prints are inspired by images from Amar Chitra Kathas, which present the religious and cultural narratives of Hindu and South-Asian mythology. The artist dabbles in a variety of media and works with digital collage, paintings, installations, photographs and line drawings.
